Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette Of Pops Review

Charlotte Tilbury recently released two more makeup products to her Pillow Talk collection, the Pillow Talk Luxury Palette Of Pops and Pillow Talk Lip Lustre. You can find the whole Pillow Talk collection here.

This collection is one of my favourites and I have the original pillow talk eyeshadow palette (review and swatches), cheek to chic pillow talk (review and swatchesand the matte revolution pillow talk lipstick (review and swatches).

The new Pillow Talk Luxury Palette Of Pops is limited edition and at the moment an online exclusive. They describe it as a mesmeric quad of sparkling nude pink eyeshadows.

On the website it says “I have bottled the magical light play of diamonds and jewels to create 4 shimmering, shine bright, eye glowing shades that go on like silk and gild the eyes with an otherworldly, enchanting, metallic POP of pillow talk magic”.

It has pearl pigments which provide rich colour, sparkle and a dreamy lustre. The glossy ester adds a magical luminosity to the pigments and gives a soft silky feel. Mica gives the pigments a soft, gliding effect for easy application and a silky smooth finish.

The palette is the exact same packaging as all of her other eyeshadow quads. Even though all of the shades are her pop ones, she has still coded all of the shades like she usually does. The first shade primer, second enhance, third smoke and fourth pop.

These are the swatches of the new pillow talk luxury palette of pops above and I have put the swatches of the original pillow talk quad below, so you can see what they both look like.

All of these shades are shimmery and glittery, so really catch the light.

The first shade is the prime and is a nude pink shade with pink and silver glitter and shimmer. This looks beautiful all over the lid and also as an inner corner highlight.

The second shade is the enhance and is a pink with brown, pink, gold glitter and shimmer. This looks beautiful all over the lid and layered over the top of the first shade.

The third shade is the smoke and is a brown with the gold and pink glitter and shimmer. This shade is lovely for in the outer corner.

The fourth shade is the pop and is an orange brown with pink and gold glitter and shimmer. This shade is the one they say to put over the other shades to add a pop, but also it looks lovely in the outer corner.

All of the shades have good pigmentation, so can be used in various ways. They have a lovely soft formula, which for me personally I find the best way to apply the pop shades is with my finger. I don’t get any fallout from them, they don’t crease and will last all day.

I think all of these shades are just so beautiful. For me personally these shades are ones that I will wear during a day or evening time look. I think the shades in this palette work beautifully together to create different looks, but also you can use this palette with the original pillow talk palette, which then gives even more options for different day and evening time looks.

This is available to buy from Charlotte Tilbury UK £42, Charlotte Tilbury US $53.00. Updated January 2020- this palette has been made permanent now. Now available at John Lewis & PartnersSpace NK UKFeel Unique and Nordstrom.

    1. It is really pretty. I think these shades will suit quite a few different skin tones.

  4. Palette looks so pretty but the light shades look a bit underwhelming :( I have to go to Sephora one day and check it out in person :) I really want the original palette tho

    1. It is a pretty palette. The light shades do show up more, it was hard to pick them up on the camera. Definitely check it out in person. I highly recommend the original palette.

  5. How pretty! The packaging is just so luxe and dreamy!
