Dermalogica Melting Moisture Masque Review

*AD-PR Product- I am part of the Dermalogica Skinfluencer program and have been very kindly gifted this product to try out and review

Dermalogica back in April released a new mask called Melting Moisture Masque. I remember seeing this product on Instagram when it released in another country. I loved the sound of the mask and was hoping it would eventually release in the UK.

The Dermalogica Melting Moisture Masque is an extremely moisturising mask, which transforms from balm to oil to help restore dry skin. This mask nourishes dry, dull skin and helps achieve a smooth and healthy looking appearance. It helps restore dry skin’s lipid barrier. Also protects against damaging environmental factors for healthier looking skin.

Dermalogica says “activated by skins natural heat, our MeltingPoint Complex delivers a satisfying melting sensation as it penetrates skin’s surface layers to deeply nourish and rehydrate.” The mask has a vitamin rich buttery formula, which gives the skin intense and lasting hydration for smooth skin.

Key Ingredients:

“Plankton Extract- is a micro-algae extract with skin conditioning properties that help strengthen skin’s lipid barrier and protect from pollution. These micro-algae help to soothe, comfort and moisturise the skin.”

“Linoleic Acid (Omega 6) is an essential fatty acid that helps to maintain and restore skin’s moisture barrier.”

“Mango Seed Butter- is rich in minerals and Vitamin A,E and C and this emollient butter presents skin conditioning properties.”

“Vitamin E- is a powerful antioxidant that helps to neutralise free radicals.”

They say to apply a pea sized amount on face and massage into the skin. This is a leave on mask. You can use once or twice a week or as needed.

I have dry and sensitive skin and this is my personal opinion on how this product has worked for my skin.

As soon as the product gets the heat from your skin, it goes from a balm to an oil. It is so easy to massage the mask into your skin and you only need a small amount of product, as it goes a long way. I’ve not tried a mask like this before, but I really love the formula of it.

The mask has a slight scent to it which you can smell a bit when first applying it. This mask is one that you leave on overnight. It does take a bit of time for the product to fully soak into the skin.

It feels lightweight on the skin. The skin is left feeling really hydrated and nourished. Also it feels soothed and has a lovely glow to it. I love how super soft it leaves my skin feeling.

Every time I have used this mask, I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin. The next morning my skin still has a lovely glow to it, feels hydrated, nourished and really soft.

This product is available to buy from Dermalogica UKFeelunique £59 50ml, Fragrance Direct UK various savings and Dermalogica US $65.00.
